ALUMNI WANTED
A new initiative of President Mark C. Gordon just begs for
alumni involvement. Will you respond?
Beginning
with the 2010 incoming class, all freshman students will create their
Personal Success Plan for their time at DC. This will be done in
conjunction with their parents, coaches, faculty advisor and an
alumnus. We need eight alumni on the following dates who would be
willing to commit 4 hours of time (12:00 pm - 4:00 pm) in this
small group format (about 20 minutes with each student). For more
details or to sign up for this new initiative please contact Dave
Plant, Director Alumni Relations, at 419.783.2572 or email at dplant@defiance.edu. You may sign
up for one or more of the dates.

here to Register
Have
you got game? Heck, do you have friends and just want to use the Golf
Classic as an excuse to get together? Either way, come on out to the
Kettenring Country Club, about a half-mile from campus, for the annual
Yellow Jacket Golf Classic. The outing is open to all alumni and friends
of Defiance College. The day starts at 11:00 with a warm up and
sandwiches. At noon, one lucky person's name will be drawn to see if they
can hole out from 165 yards for $1,000,000 dollars. Four other lucky
golfers will get a chance to do the same for a set of Taylor Made Clubs
and professional bag. Trips and other raffle items mean there will be a
lot to give away at the 5:30pm banquet. The closing banquet is open to
all, golfer and non-golfer alike. And of course, there will be a great
scramble style tournament sandwiched in between.
