Martha Mallot '81 was inducted into Defiance High School's Athletic Hall of Fame on May 3, 2008. She was the first female track qualifier for the Ohio state track meet from DHS, held the school record in the 880 meter run for 25 years, as well as five other track school records. At Defiance College, Martha participated in basketball, men's golf, and track and field. In 2005, Martha founded the Ohio Women's Open Championship after a very successful amateur golf career. She resides in Defiance, Ohio.
